They finished high school and learned much of the craft through family and community mentors. Ronald Peters was a dedicated mechanic who could diagnose and repair almost any engine. They enjoyed fishing, birdwatching, and quiet weekends outdoors. They raised a family in the same community for many years and treasured visits from younger generations.
