They finished high school and learned much of the craft through family and community mentors. They raised two children and enjoyed being an involved grandparent later in life. Matthew Fraser worked as a postal clerk and valued the daily connections with neighbors. They enjoyed fishing, birdwatching, and quiet weekends outdoors.
